MEET OUR TEAM

Our owner, Jaye, founded American Fitness in 2008, striving to create a community for all who enjoy fitness. Prior to that, she received her BS in exercise science with an emphasis in pre-physical therapy from FSU. She has been a trainer since 2005, working with clients ranging in age from 8-94.

Blaise has been training with us since 2010 and instructs some of our Team Training, Small Group, and her own Personal Training sessions. She received her RYT 200 certification and is our primary instructor for Mobility. She also offers private yoga sessions to address individual needs.

Stefanie has been training since 1991 and has been with us since 2012 at the start of our training program. She instructs some of our Team Training, Small Group, and her own Personal Training sessions. On the side, she runs her own business as a baker and caters to many of our gym events. 

Mike has been a trainer here for two years and is certified through NASM. He's a licensed mental health counselor who has owned his private practice for 13 years now. He is currently completing his Corrective Exercise certification and encourages physical fitness for the support of mental health.

Jenny is the instructor for our newest class, Yoga Power. She has been practicing yoga for 23 years and has recently received her RYT 200 certification at Rising Om Yoga & Yoga Den. She is native to Tallahassee and has been a hairstylist for 28 years, working with Salon IQ.

Rebekka has worked with us as a Member Services Associate since 2022 and has recently received her personal training certification through NASM. She instructs some of our Team Training sessions and is continuing her undergraduate education with a major in psychology. 

Jackson joined our team in June 2023 and was promoted to a manager in January 2024. He is currently enrolled at TCC, completing his bachelor's degree in business administration. 

Brady started as a member here and joined our team in 2023. He graduated from Chiles High School in 2022, and is finishing his AA degree at Tallahassee Community College. 

Delaney has been a member for years, starting in our former KIDSFIT program; she joined our staff in late 2023. When she is not here, she is following her passion for volleyball.
